Clan Ads

This is Olrik Tuano here. I'll show you some cool organizations I've found in Gielinor.

Guthix Knights:
My clan. We are warriors, rangers, and mages fighting for Guthix. We are also a fighting/skilling clan, but we emphasize teamwork and friendship.

Jawasarecool:
A war clan that I have joined. We are all elite warriors. We are a growing force and are constantly going to the most dangerous places to recruit new fighters.

The Blood Pact

I've journeyed on many quests. I'm a hardened adventurer of many quests. It's a hero's job, just going around spreading balance and peace. However, things can slow down. That's just happened to me. I've been reduced to training to fight a dragon. Xenia was my key to a new adventure.
It all started when I was back training in Barbarian Village. Rumors was an expert adventurer was handing out an adventure. I headed to Lumbridge to see what was happening.
Surprisingly, the adventurer, Xenia, said she knew me from Dr. Harlow, back when I killed a vampire for Draynor Village. She asked me to explore a newly unlocked catacomb that was being used by Zamorakian cultists. Apparently, they were disrupting the peace.
I eagerly accepted the challenge and followed her down. When we first went down, Xenia was injured by an arrow fired by one of the members, Kayle. I quickly managed to stun him. Xenia decided to stay behind and recover from her injury. After some interrogation, I discovered the three cultists were bound by a pact known as the Blood Pact. I let Kayle escape and took his bow and arrows.
I soon came upon the next member, Caitlin. She was knocked down by my arrows and I managed to get past a spear rigged wall by using a lever, to get to her. I let her go, and retrieved her runes and staff. By then, Xenia had caught up and now was preparing me for the final member.
I jumped down the stairs and found the final member. With one hit by my staff, he fell. I tried to spare him, but he only ended up drinking poison before I could stop him. A table behind him shook and a stairway was revealed.
Xenia and I managed to get out, where I was presented with the gift of runes, arrows, and some experience. The dungeon was now unlocked to me and I could freely explore it.
I quickly embarked down the dungeon, and found the secret entrance. After killing some undead monsters, I was able to find parts for a strange mask. I only needed one more. On the way, I stole demon statuettes found in the dungeon. Finally, I was near the end. I was about to get the final statuette, when a strange ghost name Dragith Nurn attacked me. I defeated him and took the final piece of the mask from his body, forming the Mask of Dragith Nurn.
I returned to the surface and showed her my mask, which she thought looked ridiculous. She offered to buy the statuettes off me, for 2500 coins, as a souvenier of her first adventure. It turns out she convinced Dragith Nurn to seal off the catacombs. Dragith was responsible for the monsters found in there, but sealed himself in there. The ghost I fought there was his tortured spirit. I guess he wasn't such a bad guy. I finally released him.
Well, a lot of good did come out of this. I guess it's back to training with that big fight with Elvarg.

March 3 Update: Iron Constitution and a Shattered Heart

Today has been a big day for updates. I was going to start with quest walkthroughs, but the updates are too important to skip.

F2p:
Constitution- Instead of Hitpoints, there is now Consitution as a skill. In order to make Runescape more like other RPG's, Jagex crew has multiplied damage, and everything's Hitpoints by 10. However, now instead of hitting a 10 (or 1), you can hit a 13 (1.3) or a 29 (2.9). This update has been devestating to veterans, and even to me, a player for 2 years. Several players have been complaining. Nevertheless, this has been used so new players will no longer hit constant 0's, but 3's (0.3) and 4's (0.4)...
Iron Smelting Changes- It has long been annoying that there's only a 50% chance of Smithing iron. However, now the chance has increased. It increases by 1% each time you gain a Smithing level from level 15. That way, it can progress up to 80% at level 45.

P2p:
Shattereed Heart- This promotes non-violence. According to the story, a mage (Dhamorak) who tried to obtain infinite runes was turned into stone and his "body parts" eroded and were scattered in the form of strange stones. Now, when training non-combat skills, there's a chance you can find a strange stone. Turning it into the Varrock Museum will give you experience in the skill you found it in. There are two stones possible for each non-combat skill. Finishing the mage's statue will give you an amazing award and will let you find more about Dhamorak's past.
